PPT meetings can cause anxiety, frustration, confusion and overall mixed feelings. Many phrases are thrown out and not fully communicated to the parents on what they mean. As a parent you have a right to ask for clarification on the terms and districts are even required to provide many of these items in your primary language. Remember you are there for your child and you have rights. Here are some of the terms that are at every ppt meeting, or atleast should be. Remember you’re doing a great job and are an important part of their team!
Traveling can mean a lot of stress for people. Hey friends, it’s been a brutal winter! Unfortunately we will be closed tomorrow Monday, February 23, 2026 due to the incoming snowstorm. We plan to reopen for regular services on Tuesday February 24, 2026 as of now. Oh yes we saw. 6-12 inches of snow AGAIN from Sunday February 22nd to Monday February 23, 2026. While models can change we just want to remind families that any cancellations or delays will be posted in multiple areas including our social media, wfsb and wtnh news outlets. This years annual Halloween door decorating contest was full of inventive ideas and creativity! Such a great job done by everyone at GTI. While the competition was fierce, and voting was close, 3 doors stood out the most! Congrats to our winners and stay tuned for potentially our first ever holiday door contest?!

Our Oaks group is learning how to grow and care for their own vegetables this summer thanks to this generous donation! Stay tuned for the growth this season! Sending big congratulations to some of our current GTI staff for their amazing achievements! Ms. Juliana completed her Masters degree and will go on to be a school psychologist! Ms. Lucy and Ms. Ashley graduated this past week with their bachelors degrees and have big future plans! We are so proud of you all! Congrats!
